1. Non-Liability for Harassment and Personal Conduct
Travellers Compass is not liable for any instances of verbal or physical harassment within or outside the group. All personal conduct, including intimate behaviour, is solely the responsibility of the individuals involved. Any consequences arising from such behaviour will be borne entirely by the individuals concerned.
2. Property Damage and Maintenance
Clients are expected to maintain the quality of accommodations provided. Any damage caused to property, furniture, or the surrounding environment is the client’s responsibility. All travellers must follow responsible tourism practices, including maintaining cleanliness in both public and private spaces.
3. Safety and Participation in Activities
All activities, including adventure sports, are undertaken at the client’s own risk. Clients must take necessary precautions and follow all safety instructions provided. Travellers Compass is not liable for any accidents, injuries, or losses during these activities.
4. Travel Insurance and Medical Expenses
Travellers Compass will not be held responsible for accidents, mishaps, or medical expenses incurred during the trip. Clients are strongly advised to arrange comprehensive travel insurance covering health, accidents, and other liabilities at their own expense. If a trip is terminated due to a client’s misconduct, any additional expenses for return or alternate arrangements will be the client’s responsibility.
5. Termination of Participation Due to Misconduct
Travellers Compass maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy against misconduct or disturbances directed at trip captains, fellow travellers, vendors, or local residents. Any client engaging in such behavior may be removed from the trip at their own expense. No refunds will be provided, and Roads You Travel will not cover costs related to removal or further travel arrangements.
6. Drugs and Narcotics Policy
Travellers Compass does not encourage or provide illegal drugs or narcotics. Any client who engages in substance abuse does so at their own risk. Travellers Compass will not be liable for any legal, medical, or personal consequences resulting from such behaviour.
7. Missed Transfers and Timeliness
Travellers Compass is not responsible for missed transfers, activities, or itinerary elements caused by the client’s negligence or tardiness. Clients must strictly adhere to the scheduled timelines. No refunds will be issued for missed elements of the itinerary.
8. Unforeseeable Conditions
Travellers Compass is not responsible for delays, alterations, or cancellations caused by natural disasters, political instability, war, or other unforeseen circumstances. No compensation will be provided for disruptions caused by such events. Clients will bear any additional expenses arising from these conditions.
9. Responsibility for Personal Belongings
Clients are solely responsible for their belongings, including passports, luggage, and valuables. Travellers Compass will not be liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal items during the trip, whether in transit, at accommodations, or during activities.
10. Photos/Videos Content Usage
Any photos or videos created during the trip by Travellers Compass content creators or clients may be used by Travellers Compass for marketing and promotional purposes across media platforms. Such content cannot be used for commercial purposes by others without prior written permission.
11. Booking and Payment Policies
• Full trip payment must be completed before the start of the journey. Pending payments may result in cancellation.
• A valid government-issued ID must be presented before boarding. Boarding will not be allowed without it.
• Bookings are non-transferable. Only the confirmed names at the time of booking will be permitted to travel.
• For international trips, passports must be valid for at least six (6) months from the travel date.
• No refunds will be made for services or inclusions not availed by the client.
12. Operational Policies
• Clients must report to the pickup point at least 30 minutes before departure.
• Air conditioning will be switched off in hilly areas or at the driver’s discretion for safety reasons.
• Smoking and drinking are strictly prohibited during the journey.
• Travellers Compass is not responsible for money borrowed or lent between travellers.
13. Health and Safety
• Clients must ensure they are physically fit to participate in the trip activities.
• In case of illness or injury, all evacuation and medical expenses will be borne by the client.
• Itineraries may be altered due to weather, road conditions, or participant fitness levels.
14. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising under these Terms & Conditions will be addressed as per the dispute resolution process outlined in the agreement provided to clients before departure. By booking with Travellers Compass, you acknowledge and agree to abide by these Terms &Conditions.
