At Travellers Compass, we believe in transparent processes and fair treatment for all our valued customers. This Cancellation & Refund Policy applies to all holiday packages, tours, and services curated by Travellers Compass from July 2022 onwards.
For bookings eligible for a refund, the refund amount will be processed within 90 working days from the date of cancellation OR upon receiving confirmation from our partner suppliers̶whichever is later. If cancellations occur during the trip, the 90-working-day timeline will begin either from the date of your return or the supplier’s confirmation, whichever comes later. Refunds are subject to approvals from airlines, hotels, activity providers, and other suppliers, payments already received from the customer, and international currency fluctuations. Any changes to the refund amount will be communicated by your dedicated account manager.
Non-Refundable Flights: Flights marked as “Non-Refundable” in your travel vouchers are not eligible for a refund. Refundable Flights: Refunds for flights marked as “Refundable” will be processed according to the specific cancellation terms mentioned in the product’s Cancellation Policy and your final itinerary. Refund amounts may vary with exchange rate fluctuations.
– Travellers Compass is not responsible for delays, cancellations, or disruptions caused by airlines. Refunds in such cases must be claimed directly with the airline.
– Passports must be valid for at least 12 months and in good condition. Refunds will not apply if boarding is denied due to invalid or damaged passports.
– Customers must reach the airport at least 3 hours before departure. Missed flights due to late arrival (without our booked airport transfers) will not be refunded.
– If transfers are booked through Roads You Travel and delays occur due to regional factors, we cannot be held responsible for missed flights.
– Baggage allowance details will be provided in your travel documents. Any excess baggage charges must be borne by the customer.
– Certain low-cost airlines (like Ryanair, Vueling, Volotea) may require mandatory web check-in. Failure to comply may result in penalties not covered by Roads You Travel.
– Meal preferences are subject to airline availability.
Non-Refundable Hotels: Bookings marked as “Non-Refundable” are not eligible for any refund. Refundable Hotels: Refunds for refundable bookings will be processed according to the terms of the product’s Cancellation Policy and your final itinerary. Refund amounts may vary due to exchange rate changes.
Additional Notes:
– Travellers Compass ensures quality accommodations but is not responsible for staff behavior, hygiene standards, or individual hotel services.
– On-trip upgrades or additional services must be paid directly by the customer.
– Changing hotels during the trip will incur 100% cancellation charges for canceled bookings.
– Early check-in/late check-out is subject to availability and is non-refundable if unavailable.
Non-Refundable Activities: Activities marked as “Non-Refundable” cannot be refunded.
Refundable Activities: If marked “Refundable,” refunds will be processed as per the
Cancellation Policy and itinerary details. Refund amounts may vary with currency fluctuations.
Visa: Travellers Compass provides documentation and guidance for visa applications but does not control the decision of the embassy. Visa fees are non-refundable in case of rejection. We are not responsible for sudden changes in consulate procedures during or after submission. Travel Insurance: Once applied, travel insurance is non-refundable and carries 100% cancellation fees.
Refunds for transfers (if eligible) will follow the product-specific Cancellation Policy and details in the final itinerary. Refund amounts may fluctuate with exchange rate changes.
